general Sights on the drive to Roanoke

First, I had dinner in Woodstock, so let’s just get that out of the way. Yay for Woodstock.

On I-81 I passed a really strange conglomeration of vehicles. I was coming up from behind them on their right, so I saw the end of the procession first. If that makes sense.

There was a trailer or something being towed. I wasn’t paying attention yet, so I don’t know what it was, but it said “IN TOW” on it. It was being towed by a big panel truck, with the back door rolled open. Inside this truck was the bed of a pickup truck. Inside the bed of the pickup truck was about the back third of a Civic.

Weird, right?

In front of that truck was another one.

In front of that truck was a pickup truck with most of another pickup truck in the bed. That back window was emblazoned “IN TOW TO HONDURAS.” Then the truck that was towing it.

Then two more pickup trucks, both labeled “IN TOW.” Except they weren’t in tow. They were in push. Rigid trailer hitches between each other and between the rear one and the truck.

So bizarre. Theories?

Anyway, I’m at Scott’s now, and we’ll be going to see some stuff in Blacksburg tomorrow. Then I’ll see my parents and uncle and aunt tomorrow evening and spend the rest of the weekend with them.

I left Jasper alone with many, many, many toys, and much, much, much food. I even left the Disney Channel on (he does like to watch TV from time to time). I hope he’s okay. I’ll pay, of course, with the whining and the crying and the needy when I get back, but I can live with that.
