I just saw an ad on TV that actually almost made me tear up. “The WB Says Goodbye.” Sunday, September 17, starting at 5, they’re showing the first episodes of Buffy, Angel, Felicity, and Dawson’s Creek.

Can you believe there’s been the WB for eleven years?

I mean, I remember the first Arsenio Hall show the first night there was Fox!

Edited to add a new television convergence: the nurse who teaches Rachel to nurse Emma on the episode of Friends I’m watching right now was played by the same actress who’s been rocking Deadwood as Hearst’s servant Aunt Lou. That scene between her and Richardson last night was great.
