A while ago I posted about some pictures I’d found, mainly ones of my grandmother’s “old man” or “grandfather” cactus. I scanned them today, plus one of me with the same cactus. It’s hard to judge its exact height, but you can tell it starts out shorter than my grandmother and ends up taller. If you recall from the earlier entry, or if you’ve reread it, this cactus was very old and very valuable and was stolen not long after the last picture was taken in 1989.
