I stitched this up with sturdy medium weight cotton fabric embellished in my own hand embroidered free stitching and accents. I lined the case with black quilted fabric and sewed down velcro fastenings. The sleeve has a softly padded fusible interfacing between the fabric and the quilted lining to increase the overall thickness. Truly a unique piece of art for your Kindle.

Jet black and white decorator fabric accented with cobalt blue pearl cotton embroidery thread make this a very lovely gift or splurge for your own Kindle! I just love creating whimsical looks to beautiful fabrics by adding creative stitches -- fern stitch, chain stitch, twisted chain stitch, double fly stitch, lazy daisy, and french knot stitches.
