general Election year in Virginia

In November of 2005 I became briefly obsessed with the Virginia attorney general election, because it was crazy close. I wrote about following it on the state board of elections website’s live returns: differences of a thousand votes here, a few hundred there, among about 20 million.

I just accidentally found one of those posts—http://kostia.net/blog/?p=2032—and I realized something.

The two guys running against each other for attorney general in that race were the same two guys running for governor this year.

twitter kostia: So I got it and went to Chick-Fil-A and holy cow that was the best breakfast ever anyway. I’m GLAD I forgot it. Still feel a little guilty.

twitter kostia: I went to Burger King for breakfast but AFTER ORDERING I realized I forgot my wallet and had to drive away. I am scum.

twitter kostia: I just used Photo Booth to put my contact lenses in. WAY too lazy to go upstairs where there’s a mirror.

twitter kostia: Speaking of the DS—which I hadn’t touched in ages—I also used Personal Trainer: Cooking to make Welsh rarebit for dinner. Bizarre but true.

twitter kostia: Playing new Professor Layton DS game. Yay! Been waiting for years, or at least it feels that way.
