I just learned how to make custom html tags in ecto. For that reason I’m now going to be testing it.

The last week or so, I’ve been listening to Jane Eyre on my iPod. Mostly in the car; I don’t really have the attention span for it while I’m being lulled to sleep on the Metro (especially at night). It’s an excellent book, and I’m embarrassed not to have read it when I was younger. It’s funny (especially now that Rochester has arrived), and it’s sweet, and it’s just a little scary (more to come; I know how it ends).

Best of all, though, the people in Jane Eyre talk like the people on Deadwood. Very roundabout, very formal, very indirect. “Physiognomy” instead of “face” is a very common substitution. I love that.
