I drew the illustrations inspired by JD Salinger's Catcher in the Rye on these plain, white shoes. Took one night. The horse, as many of you know, is the illustration on the cover of the book and shows the carousel part at the end. The city and ice skating on the other shoe represents Holden's time in NYC and when he went ice skating with Sally.
