You may recall a recent entry dated September 14 when I wrote this:

my shoulder and back hurt so much (my back worked from 1973 to 2005, my shoulder from 1973 to 2006). And my stomach hurts all the time. A lot. So I can’t really breathe properly, and no matter how little I eat I feel overly full but I’m still hungry. So trying to do anything but sit completely still—but not for long or my back goes out—is just a lost cause.

Sunday night around 3 am I woke up with intense stomach pain and ended up driving myself to the emergency room.

Since then I have had my gall bladder removed. It turns out I didn’t have a stomachache or an ulcer or ibuprofen damage. I needed surgery.

Anyway, I’ve been home from the hospital for two days but everything still hurts and I still can’t eat solid food. My mom is here taking care of me but everything just sucks.
